RightSourcing knows the healthcare vendor management industry better than anyone – because we pioneered it. We created this concept, in fact, back in 2001, in response to a client’s need to deliver quality patient care while at the same time meeting market challenges. At the time, healthcare clients were facing increasing demand for their services…and as a result, they needed more clinical workers, particularly nursing staff. At the same time, healthcare reimbursements were being squeezed. Healthcare companies were feeling pressure from all sides…and searching for cost-effective solutions.
A lot of new companies suddenly sprang up to recruit qualified personnel for healthcare organizations.
But with these additional workers came the need to manage the recruiting, placement, and compliance processes. No one, it seemed, was focusing on the need to properly identify and place the right person in the right position, to ensure they had the right credentials, and to ensure that the healthcare organization remained in compliance with Federal and state regulations regarding them.
Clinical areas, however, weren’t the only ones affected. This temporary workforce also increased dramatically in other departments, as well. In fact, this workforce was quickly becoming one of the most critical costs in healthcare organizations. To further complicate matters, costs weren’t the only things rising; so were compliance issues, risk concerns, and processing constraints.
A healthcare crisis was looming. To meet it – and to address this void in the marketplace - RightSourcing created a management program in 2001 for a large healthcare system. And we haven’t stopped since.
We’ve consistently enhanced our service offerings. We’ve developed a reputation as an innovator in the healthcare VMS market, and as a company that responds to the needs of its clients. We believe the most effective new services are developed not in ivory office towers, but in the halls and labs and rooms of healthcare facilities. We believe they’re developed by keeping a constant monitor on the pulse of an ever-changing market. By working in a true partnership with both clients and suppliers. And by listening to our clients.
We’ve tried to do things right. We believe the secrets to our success are not secrets at all, but due, instead, to our commitment to innovation, and to working with our healthcare partners in achieving it. Innovation, however, isn’t enough by itself. At RightSourcing, we also believe – truly - in the principle of customer service.
